Kylie and I share a birth week, so we treated each other to dinner at Eleven Madison Park.

MAGIC FARMS CELEBRATION
SQUID olives, kohlrabi
RED SNAPPER mussel, pimentón
POTATO sturgeon caviar
DUCK honey-lavender, peach, fennel
BERRIES granita, rice
The food was obviously excellent (MASA CORN CUSTARD!!! 2R, 1C), but their service made the night. I briefly mentioned sharing a Coors Light with my dad at home in Iowa, and after a spontaneous guided kitchen tour, a six-pack on ice was wheeled to our table and served in wine glasses.

And, as always, no one can stop my phone from eating first. No one.

I really wanted to go to a Yankees Game this summer. Rich spoiled me.
I LOVE helmet sundaes, that’s all I wanted, he walked all over to find one, and I couldn’t eat it all.

Then we went back to Ink 48 Hotel to open presents at midnight.
(L) A fully restored typewriter from 1930s Germany from Rich
(R) A number of sunflower and Fall Out Boy bracelets and decorations from my mom

I’m a lucky, lucky lady.

On my Birthday Birthday, he took me to the Arte Museum for some play time. It’s definitely curated for Instagram views, but damn, does it do its job well.
Then to Aqua Roma for dinner.

And I’m so grateful for my friends and family, who always make me feel loved and special, every day. Thank y’all for a very happy birthday.
